印度的互联网现在是啥水平

根据我在 quora 上闲逛后的了解，印度的互联网目前还是较为落后的。宽带包月一般都有流量上限，比如几十上百 G/月。我们天朝宽带包月无限流量应该是主流了吧。

Internet in India is now growing at a rather fast pace after a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) was launched in second half of 2016. The prices have collapsed from $4.25 (30 yuan) per GB of mobile data to $0.14 (0.9 yuan) per GB. Also internet speed both on mobile and fixed line broadband have seen massive improvements as compared to abysmal speeds earlier (even though not yet reached world average but still catching up). Many low cost smartphones have been introduced in India in the last 2 years especially from Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo and other companies like Samsung (just inaugurated world\u0026#39;s biggest smartphone manufacturing factory in Noida near Delhi) but the major change was the introduction of cheap "Smart feature phones" which are a blend of old era feature phones and today\u0026#39;s smartphones available for as low as 50 yuan.
All these remarkable changes have caused massive growth in the no of people using internet in India. The no of internet users rose from 238 million (June 2016 - 18% of population) to 462 million (December 2017 - 34.5% of population) and estimated to reach 500 million by June 2018 ( 37.1% of population) with the monthly growth rate varying between 5-11 million (annually between 60-110 million is expected).
So, even though internet penetration is very low in India as compared to other countries in the world it is growing at a very fast pace and we hope it continues to improve like this for the coming decade and in to the future.

现在不知道了。十五年前，网上说印度网络多发达，然后去了一趟，比中国差远了。那时候拨号上网，国内可以跑48k或者36k，印度就跑个十多k。
