本文是一篇根据情景提示展开的应用文 ， 是本书作者的学生孙丽君所写的一封求职信习作 。
在正文中 ， 作者根据书信的惯例 ， 开门见山 ， 直截了当地说明写信的目的——向武汉理工大学应聘英语教师职位 。 接着 ， 作者运用排列句式表达了自己的坚定信心、强烈愿望和对对方的敬仰之情 。 在第二段 ， 作者简要地说明了自己的学习经历和所学过的一些相关课程（具体内容可参看简历——因为是写求职信 ， 所以必须随信寄附求职者的简历 ， 并在信件末尾用encl.表明） 。 因为这是首次与对方联系 ， 所以作者在第三段说明了自己的联系方式 。
全文语言简单 ， 说明清楚 ， 是一篇相当不错的习作 。
